The origin of bracelet dates back to the Bronze Age with the discovery of metallurgy, when simple metal hoops, used as an adornment for the arms, started to be made.

In ancient Egypt were very popular bracelets made with ivory, enamel, gold and stones and their use was mainly related to religious figures. Both the Egyptians and the Babylonians wore bracelets on their ankles, too.

The Greeks made them using cords or gold threads in which they put pearls and corals.

The Etruscans, known to be great goldsmiths, made bracelets, necklaces and earrings of great workmanship. The massive use of bracelets in Etruscan times had a great influence on the Romans; in fact for the roman soldiers, who used to wear them on the left hand, it was a military symbol; the nobles wore a more refined bracelets on the right arm; the women, instead, wore a bracelet named "the slave" above the elbow.

During the Dark Ages the bracelet, due to fashion that imposed very long sleeved dresses, was almost entirely gone.

Like the necklace, also the bracelet was back in vogue during the Renaissance becoming, for many years, one of the most used accessory.

Still today is a trendy accessory that we find in many different styles to satisfy every need.

The bracelet has always been a trendy accessory that, like all jewelry, enhances the look of the wearer".
"It is often thought that leather bracelets are sporty, but it is not always so! In my collection I propose handmade bracelets with a unique design, suitable for both elegant and sophisticated looks and sporty ones".
