The necklace was in use since prehistoric times, when primitives made rudimentary models using stones and bones.

The use of necklaces was widespread in ancient Egypt when even men wore large necklaces rich in color, made by artisans thanks to the use of gold and stones such as amethyst, turquoise and lapis lazuli.

Later it was the Etruscans who created jewels of very refined workmanship, using more and more elaborate goldsmith techniques.

In the Middle Ages, due to the restrictions imposed by the Church and the Royals, the use of necklaces disappeared almost completely and then came back in vogue during the Renaissance and again suffered a braking during the French Revolution.

From the Nineteenth century, despite the alternation of many different styles, the use of jewels, particularly necklaces, has not gone out of fashion anymore.

And, in recent years, thanks to the promotion of a more environmentally sustainable lifestyle, jewels as well are made with innovative or leftover materials, like those that I propose in my collection.

Watchword: Made in Italy!
The handmade necklaces that I propose, made with leftover leather, are a symbol of elegance and extravagance to make your style unique and recognizable.
